Favorite Disney World dessert: Apple Pie (usually from the Liberty Inn in Epcot)
A few quick facts:
- It’s apple pie, that’s about it!
I love apple pie so I always end up getting this, I can never really eat thick cake or heavy chocolate when it’s too hot out so this is what I go for.

Favorite Walt Disney World resort: Saratoga Springs
A few quick facts:
- Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa is an equestrian themed, Victorian-style Disney Deluxe Villa Resort
- Inspired by historic Saratoga Springs, a late-1800s New York retreat famous for it’s horse racing a spas
- SS is of course served by Disney Transport bus service with transport to the parks as well as a watercraft service to Downtown Disney
*This was our Disney Vacation Club resort so naturally we spent most vacations here

Favorite attraction in the World Showcase: Maelstrom
A few quick facts:
- Maelstrom uses a passenger boat that takes you on a viking inspired journey through enchanted swamps, the stormy waters of the North Sea and more
- The ride focuses on the mythological history of Norway including trolls as part of the rides story line
- After the ride guests are given the option to watch a 6 minute video highlighting the history and folklore of Norway

Epcot: Future World or World Showcase? World Showcase
A few quick facts:
- The World Showcase houses 11 countries: Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, United States, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom and Canada
- Inside each country or “pavilion” you can find shops, attractions and restaurants that represent each country
- Unlike the Magic Kingdom, which does not serve alcohol, the World Showcase sells alcoholic beverages from their respective countries
